“Members of the Armed Services, and their families across the nation often face psychological and emotional wounds borne of trauma-induced stress from their experiences on front lines for America’s safety,” says Randy, who also has had a very successful career as an entrepreneur. “For so many of these heroes, their struggles radically can end up including drinking, drugs, passivity, violent acting out and suicides.

“So many express feelings of depression, sadness, loneliness and separation, emotional

isolation and intimacy starvation. Too many have feelings of fear, frustration and anger,

preoccupation, high stress, anxiety, nervousness and difficulty in focusing.

“Untreated, these conditions lead to the destruction of relationships, families, careers and ultimately lives. A devastating 50% of the post 9-11 veterans say they have had emotionally

traumatic, distressing experiences, including moral injury. Nearly one million have been diagnosed with PTSD. Between 28-33 warriors each day are the victims of suicide,

according to Veterans Administration statistics.

“Our mission is to assist veterans and their families in healing through the comforts of nature, team activities and holistic measures to combat the effects of stress and mental illness within an all-inclusive and Eco-friendly environment.

“We want to provide workshops and trade skill training to help struggling veterans and

families re-enter the civilian workforce with ease. Topics will include construction, masonry, wood working, trading, farming etc.

“Also we know the great results of equine therapy for PTSD and have the opportunity to purchase a North Georgia horse ranch, where we could also conduct the  workshops.

“Our wellness center could also be located on this ranch, which will be outfitted with conference room, massage, physical therapy, counseling rooms, gym and rehabilitation equipment. 

There will be a studio for classes with live streaming capability, lounge/cinema area, library,

a scenic view overlook with healthy food and juices.”

Randy wants to use this first American Patriots Village® as a model for others across the
